The jokes listed on police racism and brutality are too often an occurrence, and I do think police in America need to acknowledge and hear those.
Jokes reflect a lot about our society, no matter where one is.
I’m one to believe that two wrongs don’t make a right, however.
I grew up in an all-black elementary school (except for 3 white girls in my grade level), and three of my best friends growing up were black (I still keep in touch with one, and don’t know where the others are now). When my Indian friends call themselves “black” (which still boggles me)(and point out to me that I am in a midst of black people), I still can’t help but feeling disoriented that they even think of me as a different race: I know it’s probably stupid. I just don’t think of them any differently than I do myself: I love my friends for their warmth and unique qualities. I like knowing about their heritage and culture, and I’m sorry for anyone who would even think about ostracizing or being racist or prejudiced towards someone based on something so stupid as skin color.
Did you know that there is no gene for race? None. Scientists have searched for it. There are many governing traits and features that make people look a certain way, but no one gene.
Just as there are good and bad people with every type of skin color imaginable: one can not judge another by their skin.
There are stereotypes of sub-cultures, however.
Why don’t I have redneck friends? It is exactly because they tend to be hunting, misspelling, racist, uneducated people who have little sense of refinement and take little thought in organization, in self-actualization, in awareness of respect for others, and in what they do. So when I use that term, “redneck”, I am specifically referring to that sub-culture that I don’t respect. I just have a category for people that encompass all of the qualities I do respect: and that is AWESOME. Skin color, height, whether they were born black or white, doesn’t even play a role, nor should it ever.
Why?
Because you can never help what you were born as.
The only thing we have control of, is our choices, the fruits of our actions, and our attitude in life!
Some of my best friends are black, and I have personally witnessed racism against them from my family, and from policeman that I go to college with. I wish it were not so. Trying to convince family or friends that they mustn’t make blanket generalizations about a race or group of people, and just judge people individually by the fruit of their actions, is harder to do than walking on air.
If people learned how to use their language to bring people together for their similarities, and not to inflame or incite, this world would be a much happier and more successful, prosperous place.
I wish we didn’t arrest people falsely, because DNA-wise, so many have been proven to be innocent: and a large majority of those people are of a different skin color than white (mostly black)–I am so grateful for DNA testing. But it breaks my heart to think that anybody would ever arrest or detail another just based on skin-color or religion (like Islam.). I hate that the U.S. thinks it’s okay to invade any other country (occupying over 139 right now with almost one million troops), and instead, know that a righteous people will stay at home and defend within one’s own borders, on our own soil. Imperialism and colonialism is evil.
However, I’m not about to play the “race” game and do something as stupid as blaming an entire race for it. I hope people will quit the generalizations.
I’m still waiting for the day that the majority of people that I know, wake up, and realize that love is our natural state.
Consistency of qualities, thoughts, words, actions, character, habit, and doing the best (or not) with what God gives us, define the individual. Nothing else matters.

I came on this site because today I was at the pub with my friends (white and black) and one (white) said a joke “what’s black on top and white underneath” answer “rape”. So as a logical thinking human my first step was to justify this situation, so I searched for jokes online that could counteract this situation to bring equilibrium, balance and order. I read, I laughed but….. then I said to myself what would be the outcome of it. The answer is nothing, 0.
